Sourced from over 20 local farms and ranches

“Farmhouse Cafe and Bakery is committed to healthy, local, organic
cuisine that sustains our bodies, our community and Mother Earth.”

Since 2013, Micah and the Farmhouse staff have worked with local and regional farmers, ranchers and producers to not only create organic, non-GMO, healthy-for-you cuisine but also to strengthen the local food network and promote food security through collaborative partnerships. Farmhouse Café currently works with over 20 local suppliers, making the restaurant a shining example of what sustainable business can and should look like. Farmhouse owner Micah Roseberry has over 30 years experience in organic, sustainable, and biodynamic agriculture and 20 years experience in Waldorf education. She has also worked for the last fifteen years in farming and agricultural-education projects in the local Taos area, including planting gardens and designing and teaching school curriculum for elementary through university students.

Farm to School

Organic School Lunch and Garden Program.

Farmhouse Café and Bakery uses the finest local, organic, and GMO free food available. We strive to provide healthy choices featuring fresh fruits and vegetables in season, gluten free rice pastas, organic corn, fresh baked whole grain bread and rolls from Sangre de Cristo Organic Wheat Project, organic oil and butter, organic New Mexican pecans, Organic Valley milk and dairy products and Happy Hen Farm Eggs, Mary’s organic chicken.

Farmhouse sponsors school garden projects that help children learn to grow vegetables and make healthy relationships with the earth and their food choices. When children participate in planting harvesting and cooking food, they build a life long relationship with health. We collaborate with students to integrate garden foods into our recipes and prepare them with the students. For example, this month, we will make kale chips in a solar oven. We also offer nutrition, cooking, gardening, and food preservation classes for parents and families.

Thank you for supporting the butterflies, bees, and our children’s future!
